There are two paths , one leads to life and the other destruction. one can be avoided when transferring our dependency to God.
Matthew 7:13
The Narrow and Wide Gates
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
In order to avoid that road that leads to destruction we have to be willing to deny ourselves, pick up our Cross, and follow Christ. Having confidence in Christ means trusting his way and being willing to give up those things that lead to that wide destructive road. God gives warnings, we just have to take them. I definitely have struggled with the destructive way. I am not perfect , never will be , but will always strive to be more like Christ as His word says to do. When he shows you that wrong way, clearing giving a sign that this decision, person, or environment is not right for you turn around and go the other way.
